Description

Liquid Dewormer for Dogs – Fenbendazole 10% Solution

Fenbendazole Liquid Dewormer for Dogs is a 10% oral suspension (100 mg per mL) formulated to support the management of susceptible intestinal parasites. Fenbendazole belongs to the benzimidazole class of anthelmintics and works by binding to parasite tubulin, disrupting glucose uptake and energy metabolism, leading to parasite elimination.

Fenbendazole is widely used in veterinary medicine and is the active ingredient found in canine products such as Panacur C.

What Parasites Does It Target?

Fenbendazole is used in dogs for the treatment and control of susceptible:

  • Roundworms (Toxocara canis)
  • Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum)
  • Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis)
  • Certain tapeworms (Taenia species)

⚠️ Not effective against Dipylidium caninum (common flea tapeworm).
⚠️ Not a heartworm treatment.

Common Symptoms of Worms in Dogs

Dogs with intestinal parasites may show:

  • Weight loss
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Pot-bellied appearance (puppies)
  • Visible worms in stool
  • Dull coat
  • Lethargy
  • Anemia (pale gums in hookworm cases)

If symptoms persist, veterinary fecal testing is recommended.

Verified Dosage (Cross-Checked by mg/kg Standard)

Standard veterinary dose for dogs:
50 mg per kg body weight once daily

1 kg = 2.2 lb

Since this product contains 100 mg per mL:

22.7 ÷ 100 =

0.23 mL per lb once daily

Treatment Duration

  • Standard intestinal worms: 3 consecutive days
  • Giardia (veterinary diagnosed): 50 mg/kg for 3–5 consecutive days

Do not exceed the recommended dose without veterinary instruction.
